Unprecedented Solutions is a Bristol based initiative, founded by local brothers, to provide a sustainably produced hand sanitiser to communities in need during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Unprecedented Solution was accredited by the UK Government’s Health and Safety Executive and the formulation was produced in accordance with WHO recommendations.
All profits were donated to the Ted Senior Foundation, in support of the fantastic work that they are undertaking in the field of student mental health and suicide prevention.
Leveraging our track record in supply chain and logistics, we are currently exploring a number of new fundraising opportunities in 2023.
Our Product
The Unprecedented Solution comprised of three core ingredients; Isopropanol Alcohol, Hydrogen Peroxide and Glycerol.
Each bottle was manufactured in accordance with specific WHO guidelines at our Unprecedented Lockdown Lab in Bristol. The Solution’s composition was over 70% alcohol and killed 99.9% of bacteria.
Our WHO-recommended formulation received approval granted by the UK government’s Health and Safety Executive under the BPR Article 55 system of derogation for Propan-2-ol based hand sanitisers.
Ted Senior Foundation
The Ted Senior Foundation (TSF) was founded in 2019, following the tragic loss of our wonderful friend Ted to suicide. Since its foundation, the trustees (a combination of close friends and family) have raised an astonishing >£200,000 in his memory; an effort that is truly reflective of the wonderful young man that he was.
TSF’s fundraising proceeds are being put to vital use in supporting UK universities in the fight against student suicide, through training mental health ambassadors and establishing permanent prevention frameworks to support students at university sports clubs who may be struggling with their mental health.
100% of the profits from the sale of our Unprecedented Solution were donated to TSF and we are currently identifying new opportunities to support he foundation going forwards.
